Protest/Rally Schedule

Here's my recent list of the upcoming protests against Prop 8.

Where ever these rallies occur, if you can make it, show up.  These things have a life of their own, and when we get together on the streets with our straight allies, the power and passion takes over.

This show of solidarity has created NATIONAL news coverage.  It's imperative in getting our word out and generating support on a national level for all the hard work by the organizational and legal teams that lies ahead.

And let's face it, it is a better representation than a GAY PRIDE Parade of who the LGBT community really is, and how we feel.  Let's keep those images on the news, in the papers, on the radio and OUT TO THE PEOPLE of America.

In the coming weeks, I will post more information about how we all can get involved.  We have work to do, all of us.  Right now, what we can do while our legal teams mobilize, is show our support and our numbers.

There is a protest scheduled in front of Fresno City Hall, Monday, Nov. 10... It is being organized by LGBT youth and their allies.

10:00 a.m.
2600 Fresno Street
Fresno, CA 93721

Fresno County and surrounding areas voted 68-75% in favor of Prop 8. We have allies in the area but we are outnumbered, we need your help!

JD, Thanks so much for the schedules, pictures, videos, and reportage on the No on 8 protests. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

Are the protests that are during church services meant to disrupt the church services? Or are they timed to begin when church services are over so that protest goers can have conversations with the greatest number or people who voted yes on 8?
