A protest against an election is a protest against democracy.

Not when the "law" that was underwritten by out-of-state religious groups is unjust and removes civil rights to a certain group. Civil rights should not be a matter of referendum, and ballot measures shouldn't be allowed to change a state constitution! Why have legislators if we can just do it ourselves. What an incredible waste of money!
