The iconic queer filmmaker of the camp hits Cecil B. Demented, Serial Mom, Female Trouble, Mondo Trasho and Pink Flamingos has been summoned by Hollywood to pen a sequel to the smash hit HAIRSPRAY. New Line Cinema has signed Waters to write the sequel, with out gay director Adam Shankman on board along with out gay composer Marc Shaiman.
