Hillary Gets on Nomination Roll Call for Denver DNC

It was announced today that Hillary Clinton's name will in fact be placed in nomination for President at the Democratic National Convention in Denver later this month.

Her strong supporters have been pushing for this. There will be a roll call now with both names so delegates can vote to pick the Democratic Nominee. Senator Clinton will speak at the DNC on August 26 (the 88th Anniversary of the day women were granted the right to vote) and the state-by-state roll call will happen the following day.

Is this kinda like Jennifer Aniston thinking there'd be hope to save her marriage after Brad Pitt flew off to the set of Mr and Mrs Smith?

I feel if the shoe was on the other foot Obama wouldn't have the "PRIVILEGE" of being on the Nomination Roll Call. Unite the party to divide the people within it. Just another hurdle for African America to jump. "GOD BLESS AMERICA". Obama agreed to giving Hillary another chance that's "LOVE","RESPECT" & "HONOR" not only for Hillary but all you "Hillary CRY BABIES THAT DIDN'T & WOULDN'T SHOW HIM THE SAME". "GOD BLESS YOU ALL".

Wow, why so bitter? This is the American way and I happy that everyones voice can be heard. You have no idea what I would do if Hillary had not dropped out and Obama had. We need a Dem in the white house and united party. I am just happy we have two great choices. Are you really bringing the race card into this? I thought it was about who would be the best to run the free world.

Ultimately, it SHOULD be about who is the best person for the job. However, since when has that EVER been the litmus test by which we choose a president in this country? Hillary doesn't realize it yet, because she is too blinded by her own ego and sense of entitlement(and probably Bill's, too), but, if Obama loses the election, it will be because the Dems are so fractured at the end of the process. She will be held responsible (rightly or wrongly) for that. It really just makes her look like the biggest cry baby in the Universe. She did not get the number of delegates required to win the nomination! Let it go, you lost fair and square! If you think the process is unfair, work to change the way the Dems pick a candidate, but don't sabotage the guy who beat you... and yes, he did beat her.. she lost. I have lost all respect for her and have nothing but contempt for, both, her and Bill. It makes me sad because I used to be such a huge supporter of the Clintons. Ah well, I guess this election just brought out the real Clintons (who, apparently will do and say anything to get what they think they deserve) for the world to see.

Please god, a miracle! Let Hillary get the nomination!!! I'm watching the Warren forum last night thinking...I disagree with McCain in EVERYTHING - yet I respect that he gave no bullshit answers. Who is Obama??! I can't feel this guy! Name 3 people who you will go to for council - the guy names 50! Answer a direct question! And the first person he says is his wife? Really? Not an expert on economics, world politics, Security. Nope, his wife, his grandmother and 50 non descript senators. And the gays? Ah, I take them for granted. He's an empty suit! Arggh.

Again will all the rage. I never was crying because Hillary lost. I was disappointed because I liked her, but now I am for Obama. You say that I am separating the party.. but with views like yours and spending your time Hillary bashing instead of getting the word out is the reason the Dems my lose this election. You say I have lost fair and square, I have lost nothing because the Dems have a good person in Obama to represent us. Take a step back and lose the bitterness and send that same engery out in the world to her him elected. No need to bash your fellow DEMs.

Please remember when Bill left office we have over 120 billion surplus, people that jobs and could feed their families. That is what we need to get back to no matter who is in the white house.

When I said "you lost fair and square," I was speaking directly to Hillary, not to you or any of her supporters. I respect anybody who sticks by the person they came to the party with.. however, in this case, we, as Dems, need to pull our shit together quick if we want to win this thing. My point simply was that Hillary allowing her name to be placed in nomination is counter intuitive. It does not speak to an agenda of unity, it speaks to Hillary's agenda to do whatever she has to do to try and eek out some sort of hail mary win. It helps no one, except the Repubs. Honestly, no disrespect was directed at you or any of Hillary's supporters.
