This just In. This just Out.

This just in.

After 8 years at the helm of OUTFEST, Stephen Gutwillig will be stepping down from the Executive Director position in December. He says he plans to move "in another direction, most likely outside of nonprofit arts and culture."

(Gutwillig seen here pictured right, standing with the lesbian diarist at this year's Opening Night Gala at the Orpheum Theatre)

The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian FIlm Festival - OUTFEST - is one of the premiere LGBT film festivals in the world. In addition to being the largest film festival in Southern California, with 10 days of screenings, parties, panels and premieres, it also operates a weekly screening at the historic Egyptian Theatre in addition to raising money for queer film preservation and hosting the queer people of color film festival, FUSION.
